INNOCENCE is produced by Fabrica for the “Venice Is Not Sinking” project. It is a book and a DVD set, which six writers and six directors were asked to write or make a short film about different regions of Venice.
I was asked to realize San Polo (the central region of Venice). It is the smallest but the liveliest district, overran by crowded tourists. I desired to express the loss of purity and innocence due to its heavy tourism.
